Using
a combination of https protocol (Secure Socket
Layering), browser cookies, Java Server Pages (JSP)
and a backend MS-SQL database, the required security
improvements were achieved.

JRun was installed upon the IIS web server in order to process
the Java Server Pages, running WebLogic and jdbc to provide
the database connection. The Development environment consisted
of Visual Interdev 6.0 combined with Source-Safe.
